Senior Process Technician DE 45 - 63k (J#26398)
Education: High School
Experience: 10 - 20 years

KubeTech, a custom injection molder based in Newark, Delaware is looking for experienced process technicians for our plant located in the Philadelphia area. KubeTech provides custom molding solutions to some of the largest consumer products companies in the world and maintains its position as a North American leader in cube and stack injection mold design, development and production.


- Set-up, starts-up, troubleshoot, and monitor injection plastic injection molding machines and related equipment.
- Perform duties to assist supervisor to maintain the flow of work and to ensure product quality and quantity is achieved in plastic injection molding department.
- Request, evaluate, and monitor mold and fixture modifications and repairs.
- Monitor production to ensure customer specifications and established quality standards are maintained.
- Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders.
- Monitor and confer with supervisor to update all processing parameters on Bill of Materials, cycle sheets, etc.
- Select and audit products during processing to ensure adherence to quality standards such as dimensions and performance.
- Supply approved first shots to production staff to ensure current quality standards are met.
- Perform moisture analysis of material as needed, taking into account shift usage and available dry resin.
- Set up machines and equipment and assist with mold and material changes.
- Recommend measures to improve production efficiencies, equipment optimization, scrap minimization, and quality improvements.
- May supervise machine operators to ensure quality production of parts.


- At least 7 years of experience processing plastic in a injection molding production environment.
- Associates Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or comparable work experience.
- Knowledge of and ability to operate safely a variety of production equipment, power tools and hand tools.
- Knowledge/experience in scientific injection molding processing (Paulson or RJG preferred)
- Applied mathematics


- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods, turn, and twist
- Strength and dexterity to be able to attach and detach molds
- Able to reach 3-4 feet into cramped spaces and make fine adjustments
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts
