Sales/Customer Service Mgr. IA 65 - 75k (J#27437)
Education: High School
Experience: 1 - 3 years

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Primary contact for assigned customers
Manage, coordinate, and facilitate customer development and customer needs/concerns;
oFocus is to maintain positive relationship with customers and to drive sales
oPrimary liaison between the customer and internal business teams
Customer Account Plan development preparation, and management
oLeverage relationships and opportunities
oWork to ensure achievement of plan and continuously look for ways to enhance profitability
oRevisit annually and update quarterly
Identify the appropriate decision makers for each customer including; engineering, purchasing and upper management and work to establish the necessary relationships with these individuals
Work with Finance and Operations to develop the annual Forecast and Budget with monthly and quarterly updates
Play the lead role in the customer teams to facilitate the RFQ (Request for Quote) process and proactively manage from quote receipt to PO (Purchase order)
oUtilize existing tools (Smartsheets and
oCoordinate communication within the team
oWork to ensure your customer team submits accurate and on time quotes
Serve as a source of market intelligence to DMP on your customers and markets
Provide leadership for customer conflict resolution when an issue is escalated from Customer Service. Ensure overall customer and business satisfaction
Assist in the resolution of billing discrepancies/issues when needed
Lead efforts for customer rationalization including disposition of inventory and tooling
Transition customers as part of the customer life cycle management to other account managers when appropriate

Technically oriented undergraduate degree preferred or 3-5 years of commiserate sales, service and/or business development experience
Minimum of 3 years experience in industrial sales with a preference in plastic molding
Relationship development and growth track record
Demonstrated experience in high-level customer management and acquiring new business
Ability to read and interpret CAD files, drawings, material requirements and quality specifications to allow for review with the customer
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, IQMS, or other CRM process
Proficient at planning, organization, goal setting and the establishment of priorities
Highly organized, systemic approach to work
High energy, proactive effort to make DMP successful
Effective verbal and written communication including presenting to groups, establishing one-on-one rapport, writing detailed reports, and clearly communicating via email and phone
