Regional Sales Director-CPG We TX Open (J#12301)

SUMMARY:brThe Regional Sales Director will responsible for directing a sales organization of 4-5 Regional Sales Representatives or Managers in the aggressive development of new business opportunities and maintenance of existing relationships in the Western U.S The RSD will be responsible for all aspects of business development, strategy development, customer design-in management, account management, and account support. Will also manage and communicate customer requirements, product marketing, and liaison with manufacturing teams..brbrRESPONSIBILITIES:br-Explore assigned regional markets to secure targeted accounts within the market. Opportunities to evaluate include product line extensions and expansion to fit on existing capital equipment located within the assigned region, as well as validation of market needs for additional capital equipment investments within the as a team with assigned national market packaging development engineers to facilitate bringing value added products to the regionbr-Develop and maintain manufacturing plant relationships to optimize customer service and profitability of the assigned plantsbr-Develop and maintain commercial relationships with existing regional accounts to ensure excellent service and value growth to the customerbr- Identify, document, contact and educate customers and distributorsbr- Organize and conduct informal seminars on how product fits the marketbr- Provide weekly detailed sales & activity reports to managementbr- Interface with Plant Teams, Customer Service and Group Sales leadersbr- Provide monthly sales projects/forecastsbr- Learn competitors lines and report changes and pricing in their productsbr- Attend sales/industry trade showsbr- Report market trends and changes

REQUIREMENTS:brB.S.
