Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Quality assurance (QA) aims to ensure that the product is fit for purpose and meets both external and internal requirements, including customer expectations. A quality manager coordinates the activities required to meet quality standards.
Quality manager will own, monitor and advise on the performance of the quality management system and produces data and report on performance, measuring against set indicators.
This position will liaise with other managers and staff throughout the organization to ensure that the QA system is functioning properly. Where appropriate, the quality manager advises on changes and their implementation and provides training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality throughout the Supply Chain.
Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the Supply Chain.
Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality plan to bring Quality Systems and Policies into compliance with quality system requirements.
Work with Operations Management and Customers Product Development to establish, document and maintain quality requirements for Company and external suppliers.
Perform periodic audits on Quality processes for raw materials at external suppliers locations.
Responsible for obtaining and documenting Product Specifications on all products.
Manage and maintain quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes and finished goods.
Ensure tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary.
Supervise internal and external technical staff in performing all testing.
Write technical and management system reports.
Formulate and manage the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems pertaining to the QA/QC.
Review products in development from a quality perspective
Liaising with auditors and ensure the execution of corrective action when required
Requirements
BS 4 year college degree
Minimum of 4-6 years experience in Quality Assurance
Best practice in Manufacturing and Distribution processes
Extremely organized and methodical.
Strong knowledge in Quality Management Systems applicable to the manufacturing industry.
Capable of understanding and overcoming different cultural and language obstacles to provide solutions that satisfy corporate, regional, and local objectives.
Capable of analyzing data in order to support the development of strategies to effect change.
Skills
Knowledge of programming CMM
