Quality Manager - TS, ISO

Managerial and functional responsibilities for the development of the quality assurance group into an organization to manage, plan, organize, integrate, measure and report a program of total quality control.
We are searching for an interactive manager who can guide the quality department and work with associates throughout all levels of the company.
The Quality Manager will work with customers and help the team launch new components.
Knowledge of ISO-9001, TS-16949 quality management systems is needed.
Experience improving processes, procedures and work instructions is required. Strong problem solving skills using various tools such as fishbone, parados, root cause, analysis, 8-D and 5Why methodologies is strongly preferred.
The Quality Manager will play a key role as part of the core management team.
The ability to continuously develop quality team members and shop floor associates is needed. Track and report all quality measurable recorded in MOS.
Provide corrective actions for any measurable below goal.
Maintain plant quality policy manual to TS16949 standards and requirements.
Lead plant efforts to obtain TS16949 certification.
Investigate and recommend software that supports the quality functions.
Participate in the selection, training, and performance assessment of the quality assurance department personnel.
Provide for disposition of product on quality hold.
Work with customers to build plant relationship and improve quality.
The ideal candidate will have auditing, statistical analysis/control, metrology, systems, MRB and advanced problem solving skills.
Strong Gd&T and ability to read prints is required.
The key to this position is good leadership, communication planning and problem solving skills.
Need good core tools to review or prepare FMEA, PPAP, gauge R&R, CPK studies, work instructions, SPC plans, control plans, flow diagrams and corrective actions.
MUST HAVE: a minimum of 7 years of quality experience, 5 years of quality management, strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire others. Knowledge of ISO-9000, TS-16949 quality management systems is needed.
