Quality Engineer OH Open (J#26868)

The Minco Group, consisting of Minco Tool and Mold, Inc. and All Service Plastic Molding, Inc. (ASPM), is located in Dayton, OH, USA. For 50 years, we have supplied ever-increasing services to the plastics industry, from product design to assembly. The markets served include automotive, consumer, electrical, medical, office and business equipment, and telecommunications. Customers include Fortune 500 companies, large automotive suppliers, Japanese transplants, and small entrepreneurs with products and vision to change the marketplace. We've had some exciting business growth, and ASPM now has an immediate opening for a Senior Quality Engineer.

You will be responsible for supporting plant quality initiatives tied to process and product quality by performing the following duties:

- Supports the ISO9001 program and customer specific requirements (PPAPs).
- Assists with new product introductions (CPK analysis, FMEAs, etc.).
- Leads process improvements that successfully solve internal/external problems, reduce cost and/or decrease processing complexity.
- Participate in and/or lead continuous improvement activities affecting safety, quality, cost and delivery.
- Create and implement methods and procedures for inspection, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
- Oversee the collection of data and analyze this data for product improvement opportunities.
- Develop procedures, specifications and standards for products and processes.
- Responsible for assuring products conform to established requirements and standards through testing and inspection.
- Communicate effectively within a team environment and throughout many different departments.


- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (BSME or other related major) or equivalent experience.
- Seven to ten years of progressive leadership and management experience in Quality, Engineering, or Operations environment.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
- Understanding of ISO9001.
- Knowledge and use of FMEAs.
- Demonstrated exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience in quality management systems.
- Experience in quality system audits.
