Compensation: $68,000 - $82,000

Responsible for developing and maintaining many of the quality assurance functions such as document creation and
control, procedure development/training, SPC and resolving customer concerns. This position will require individual with
the ability to work on multiple projects with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

- Works with engineering on the planning, development and launch of new projects
- Works with the engineering and manufacturing department members in the development of product documents such as
quality inspection control plans, production inspection training guides and equipment training guides
- Works with engineering on the completion of first article inspection reports
- Create controlled procedures and train appropriate staff members on those controlled procedures
- Responsible for implementing internal and external corrective/preventive actions
- Resolve customer complaints
- Acts as an assigned Calibration Coordinator, as assigned by the Quality Manager, ensuring all equipment is calibrated
and all calibration records are accurate and up to date
- Responsible in the implementation of statistical process controls (SPC)
- Develop, implement and perform scientific sampling techniques to determine product/process acceptability- incoming,
in-process and finished product
- Serve as an internal auditor for the facility quality systems

Qualifications

- Three or more years of experience working as a Quality Engineer for a manufacturing facility
- 4 Year degree or equivalent experience in an applicable Manufacturing and Quality discipline
- Demonstrated application of quality tools, including Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing and statistics process control
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, including presentation skill
- Ability to write effective and accurate business correspondence
- Working knowledge of in CAD/CAM or other current engineering software programs is helpful
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
