Program Manager TN Open (J#27495)
Education: Bachelors Degree
Experience: 4 - 9 years

ABC Group is a Canadian-based manufacturer of Automotive Plastic Processed products (Tier 1 supplier) working with the premier OEM's of the automotive industry. ABC Group is on eof the world's leading automotive systems and components manufacturers. We are a plastic injection molding manufacturer of interior automotive parts and are located in Gallatin, TN. We are expanding and have an immediate need for a Program Manager.

Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Plastics Engineering or equivalent experience

Desired Work Experience:
Minimum of 5 years automotive spplier experience in a technical role
Experience with blow molding and injection molding machines
Experience with process automation, robotics, PLC programming
Lean manufacturing experience
CAD experience is HIGHLY DESIRED
Plastic processing experience
Class A show surfaces and color matching
Interior trim part experience

Desired Skills:
ESSENTIAL: Independent thinker, strong organizational and planning skills, and excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Knosledge of OSHA General Industry Standards, TS16949 and ISO14001
Experience with APQP
Teamwork-Recognizes the importance of positive relationships and working as a team

Forward Thinker-Anticipates and resolves issues and problems
Good Communicator-Ability to listen to others and clearly present information and requests

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the technical performance and development of blow molded and/or injection molded products, processes and assemblies
Cradle to grave responsibilities regarding launching of new programs/products/processes
Ensures facilities, equipment and processes are optimally functioning thereby meeting internal and customer manufacturing objectives/quality requirements and support manufacturing in installation, startup and training
Participates in design review meetings as subject matter expert in the manufacturing process and provide input for new programs
Interacts with Corporate Business Unit Team in product development and launches
Interacts with Quality Engineering to monitor customer warranty performance
Recommends and implements countermeasures to mitigate warranty issues with customer
Supports root cause and correctie action implementation of manufacturing issues
Manages the overall schedule to ensure work is assigned and completed on time and within budget
Coordinates and implements engineering changes including cost estimating, related documentation and scheduling
Ensures all documents are complete, current and stored appropriately including writing, updated of work instructions, procedures and correspondence
