POSITION SUMMARY:
Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills in working with all stakeholders, teams
and individuals. Must have a commitment to the overall organizational direction and the team-based
approach.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Change agent and mentor for moving the team to a value-driven quality and productivity culture through the use of three key elements: Leading, Empowering and Partnering.
Coach and support the culture of the organization through:
-Ensuring the health and safety of our employees as well as environmental awareness.

-Adding value to the product and workplace

-Meeting customer needs and expectations
-Implementing effective measurements
Responsible for troubleshooting and problem solving.
Responsible for partnering with the training department to provide employees with soft skill, social and
technical training.
Process maintenance and reporting( labor/staffing, scheduling, yield, scrap, cost, capacity, assure process integrity, and continuous improvement plan implementation.
Forecast labor requirements and recommend equipment and layout changes, production methods and
material handling procedures.
Lead team in developing goals and measurements to ensure organizational strategic plan objectives are achieved.
Actively seeks and shares suggestions, information, input and feedback from within their teams, other
teams, and throughout the whole organization and customer base.
Encourage continuous improvement and benchmarking strategies.
Responsible for supporting and following daily production management system activities and the quality
system (provide presence on shop floor to work with team members).
Develop new procedures, modify existing procedures and submit for approval. Implement completed
procedure changes. Make recommendations, and solicit suggestions from employees regarding changes to improve quality and manufacturability.
Ensure availability and proper condition of tools and material and requisition items required to meet
production requirements. Test incoming material and ensure correctness. Ensure calibration of equipment as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree or 5+ years experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment at a group lead level or higher.
Ability to demonstrate analysis, judgement, planning, organizing, and communication (verbal, written and listening) and feedback skills.
Strong human relations skills.
Proven leadership with successful teaching/coaching and motivation skills.
Demonstrated willingness to improve through technical and social training.
Must be highly motivated and display a positive attitude along with pride in work.
Willingness to be self-directed.
Demonstrated computer skills.
Budget planning experience.
Willingness to work flexible hours.
Adapts well to change. Champions change and is a risk-taker.
