Process Technician CO Open (J#27818)
Education: High School
Experience: 1 - 3 years

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Strength and agility necessary to set large molds and perform related activities.
Able to work in changing environmental conditions (such as temperature and noise)

Must be dependable, punctual and have good attendance
Must be flexible and adaptable to change
Self motivated and require minimal supervision
A team player that works well with others
Demonstrate professional conduct at all times and be quality driven with attention to detail
Be an independent thinker and have strong time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

JOB DUTIES:
Perform sets, starts ups, and trouble shooting of molds in all sizes/types of injection molding machines
Perform the above job duties within Intertechs defined standard time frame to minimize machine and production downtime
Write Work Orders to coordinate internal and external activities as needed to repair and optimally maintain molds
Inspect, clean and maintain molds subsequent to each production run
Maintain an orderly work area and help sustain a clean and organized production floor
Utilize our real time monitoring system MATTEC to monitor mold/machine status changes, cycle time, and scrap recording
Clean tie-bars and platens during each mold change
Adhere to defined priorities and schedule to maintain efficient and effective plant operation
Fill out required reports and documentation for production and quality departments
Ability to interface with machine operators to maintain high labor utilization
Ability to interface directly with other personnel as needed to achieve production standards
Ability to read technical drawings and written mold specifications
Attend required meetings and training.
Adhere to all company safety and accident prevention procedures
Be available for on-call status as needed
Strong mechanical aptitude is required
Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED.
Basic mathematical skills are necessary

EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 2 years of relevant plastic injection molding experience.
Knowledge of the principles of hydraulics, electronics and pneumatic
Strong understanding and application of automation is required
Forklift operation (will train)
Strong mechanical aptitude.

DESIRED BUT NOT NECESSARY:
Knowledge of ISO 9001 protocol
Large part Blow Molding experience
Training in De-coupled molding theory
Speak and / or read Spanish
