Plant Manager NC Open (J#26948)
Experience: 4 - 9 years

Review production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and schedule delivery dates in order to plan department operations.

Plan production operations; establish priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.

Prepare operational schedules and coordinate-manufacturing activities to ensure production and quality of products meets specifications.

Review production and operating reports and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.

Review of financial and production data to identify and implement corrective actions.

Supervise molding, secondary, maintenance and production control functions within plant.

Ensure product is delivered to customers on time without quality issues.

Communicate issues of concern immediately to General Manager.

Minimize plant expenditures to items needed for successful operation.

Inspect machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.

Develop or revise standard operational and working practices and observe employees to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

Assist in resolving employee issues.

Compile, store, and retrieve all data relevant to operations.

Ensure facility is clean and organized resulting in a pleasant and safe work environment and customer satisfaction.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage all subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 30-200 employees in the facility. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; coaching, developing and mentoring employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Each individual will be reviewed after the first 6-months and 12-months of employment, and will continued to be reviewed on an annual basis after the first year.
