Location: Woodinville, WA

Position: Injection Molding Process Engineer

Position overview: Mold Rite is looking for a SR plastic injection process engineer with experience in plastic-injection molding and assembly. The successful candidate will be well-written, and have expert knowledge with respect to the science behind plastics as well as process control. Experience with lean manufacturing and an ability to multitask is a big plus.

Key Responsibilities:
Mold Process development (define peak settings for quality of cycle time)
Window studies
Process validation
Process control
Daily: Process improvement, scrap reduction, etc.
Provide direction for setup techs and process techs.

Qualifications:
Attention to detail, self-driven, respectful personality
Plastics engineering education required
SR level experience with manufacturing processes
Well versed with MS Office
Experienced with ERP systems a big plus (we use IQMS)
Logical thinking and concise communication comes easy to you
