Job Summary:
Byrne Electrical Services is seeking an experienced Molding Technical Supervisor with experience in the field of plastic
injection molding, ideally within the office furniture and electrical industry. The ideal candidate should have at least 3-5
years of technical experience with plastic injection molding, along with hands on set-up, processing, and troubleshooting
skills for both electric and hydraulic injection machines and auxiliary equipment. Previous leadership experience is a

Essential Duties, Responsibilities and Job Requirements:
a)Ensure mold changes are done in a timely manner to meet daily production demands
b)Oversee quality standards as related to molding during shift
c)Troubleshoot molding processes, including equipment malfunctions
d)Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in molding plastic products, applying knowledge of
molding machine setup and operating techniques and production machining methods
e)Ensure all safety procedures are followed; all operators are trained on safety rules and practices; support safety
committee; complete all assigned safety tours
f)Create repeatable documented processes
g)Actively seek out and implement continuous improvements within the molding department
h)Communicate with prior and oncoming shifts to give work assignments and expectations to achieve production
requirements and promote shift interaction and awareness
i)Monitor production for accuracy and efficiency and work with quality inspectors to ensure part quality/performance

Skills/Experience Required:
Minimum of 3 years recent experience as a process mold technician in the field of plastic injection molding with
strong mechanical aptitude required (6+ years is ideal)
RJG Master Molder Certification or equivalent experience is preferred
Knowledge of process controllers, SPC, robotics, injection molding equipment, hydraulics and/or electrical systems
Good communication/interpretation skills, good visual skills for assessing part quality
Above basic math skills and reasoning ability
Moderate computer skills
