Mold Set-up Process Tech NH Open (J#24251)
Education: High School
Experience: 1 - 3 years

Johnson Precision is an innovative manufacturer of precision plastic injection molded components and sub-assemblies. We provide our customers with best-in-class plastic engineering support, global injection molding production capabilities and integrated supply chain solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Plastic Injection Mold Set-up ProcessTechnician.

JOB TITLE: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes but is not limited to the following:
Adhere to the molding priorities schedule, remove, install and process molds as per the schedule. Submit first good parts to quality for approval. If rejected, address the issues identified by quality and re-submit.
Update process documentation as required to ensure future job repeatability.
Troubleshoot and address molding problems as they arise throughout the production run.
Develop IQ/OQ/PQ sample qualifications as defined by Program Management.
Perform machine maintenance as requested, including screw and barrel changes, heater changes and general Preventive Maintenance.
Train production employees, as requested, in the proper operation of job specific molding processes.
Follow established ISO and production procedures. Recommend changes to the procedures that will improve quality and/or productivity.
Participate in creating a culture of cooperation, support and overall team success.
Perform other duties as assigned to help Johnson Precision achieve its overall business strategies.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
HS Diploma or GED required
Two (2) plus years installing and processing molds in a plastic injection molding manufacturing environment

JOB KNOWLEDGE, ABILILITIES AND SKILLS:
Strong knowledge of plastic injection molding machines, processes and tooling.

Demonstrated ability to safely use hoists (manual and electric), hand tools, fork lifts and power tools.

Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, able to use measurement tools (calipers, comparator, gauge blocks, etc.).

Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and to compute rates, ratios and percents. Familiar with SPC and can apply its concepts.

Fundamental computer skills, working knowledge of business software (e.g., Excel, Word).

Able to stand for long periods of time

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and move heavier objects with proper equipment

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
