RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Start injection molding machines and submit first article parts. - Review injection mold tools and work cells in preparation for productions provide reporting to mold setup team for communication of performance. - Review the final closure of paper work in regards to final lot quantity, overruns and disposition of non-conforming product. - Assist in the training of molding personnel when needed. - Must hold mold team accountable at all times. - Ensure that all work cells are set according to the SOP. - Insure that all correct work instruction and quality alerts are set at the press. - If setup of product is approved for regrind use, then ensure proper uncontaminated regrind is used at correct ratio. - Answer all alarms and provide corrective actions. Document alarms and corrective action; provide report to department leaders. - Provide advice and recommendations to assist the Manufacturing personnel in making sound decisions to ensure the maximum efficient use of all equipment. - Insure that the mold setting team in following direction of the shift supervisor and process engineer. - Perform all other duties assigned by management.
