-Be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
-Strength and agility necessary to perform related machining activities.
-Able to work in changing environmental conditions (such as temperature and noise).

-Self motivated and require minimal supervision.

-Demonstrate professional conduct at all times and be quality driven with attention to detail.
-Independent thinker and time management skills.

-Provide technically sound repair work for all molds and tools used in injection molding production operations.
-Perform a wide range of machine shop operations such as EDM, polishing, drilling, grinding, mill and lathe work.
-Fabricate or replace parts for molds, fixtures and other tasks as assigned.
-Responsible for CNC machine set up and operation.
-Set up and perform machine and bench operation needed to repair tools, jigs, fixtures, molds, etc.
-Read and work from blueprints, diagrams, sketches or CAD files to deliver required tolerances.
-Coordinate internal and external activities as needed to repair and optimally maintain molds.
-Maintain needed parts and supplies inventory.
-Schedule workloads to maintain efficient and effective plant operation.
-Ability to interface directly with plant personnel as needed to achieve production standards.
-Must provide own tools as necessary.
-Maintain an orderly and clean work area.
-Attend required meetings and training.
-Adhere to all company safety and accident prevention procedures.
-Be available for on-call status as needed.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

-High school diploma or GED.
-Basic mathematical skills are necessary.

-Completion of an approved apprenticeship training program.
-A minimum of 6 years of machining experience with some in the plastics molding industry.
-Forklift operation (will train)
-Strong mechanical aptitude.

-Knowledge of ISO 9001 protocol
-Experience using IQMS for PM and WO management

-Based on experience: $22-$30/hour
