Machine Operator MA Open (J#24126)

We have an immediate need to fill several regular, full-time production operator positions. We are willing to train capable individuals who can operate equipment and offer solutions to a wide variety of challenges. Initially, these jobs will be based out of our Plymouth, MA facility, but they may move to West Bridgewater, MA. Work Schedules are subject to change, so candidates must be flexible. In Plymouth, operators must be able to work one of the following 40-hour/week shift schedules:
Saturday & Sunday, 11 am to 11 pm + Monday & Tuesday, 3 pm to 11 pm
Saturday & Sunday, 11 pm to 11 am + Monday & Tuesday, 11 pm to 7 am
If the jobs move to West Bridgewater, candidates might need to work on 7 pm to 7:00 am with alternating 3 or 4 day weeks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Applicants must be able to perform these key duties:

1.Meet quantity and quantity production requirements
2.Perform routine tasks that include notifying technicians when product is inferior to correct issues
3.Assist management with daily assignments
4.Perform other miscellaneous duties as required

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1.Ability to read, write, and speak English
2.Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach and lift/push/pull/move up to 10 pounds of force constantly; up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
3.Ability to operate machinery in a manufacturing environment and perform repetitive work.
4.Ability to stand and/or sit for an entire shift
5.Ability to work overtime if necessary.
6.Prior manufacturing/assembly experience (preferably in a plastics, injection molding environment) is preferred but not required
