Compensation: $65,000 to $75,000

Emphasis is on controlling costs, improving operating efficiencies, optimizing inventory levels and improving customer

- Continuously interact with operating management to develop analysis that will assess performance and be translated into
- Provide direction to the organization relating to the control and costing of inventory
- Establish and administer inventory controls in the planning, manufacturing, purchasing, receiving and shipping processes
- Control the costing of inventory through the development of standards and administration of the ECR process
- Monitor activity recorded through purchase price variance accounts and purchase order activity
- Develop analytics to evaluate inventory movement
- Prepare, analyze, and communicate inventory data necessary for financial statements, corporate reporting packages,
monthly financial forecasts, audits, physical inventories, and operating budgets
- Measure actual results against planned goals and report on performance, including the fundamental causes for variances


- Three years of experience in Cost Accounting for a manufacturing facility is required
- Four year degree in Accounting is required
- MBA is plus
- Fundamental understanding of costing as it relates to processes, products and inventory
- High level of proficiency with technology supporting the business processes (Excel, Access, MRP & Forecasting systems)
- Very strong organizational and analytical skills, particularly in working with large quantities of data
- Willingness to be "hands on"
- Experience managing multiple projects
