The Business Manager could be located anywhere throughout North America.


The incumbent provides strategic leadership for Husky in the specific market in support of the Global Business Unit Leader and Huskys global strategy. The incumbents principal objective will be to work closely with the Direct Sales Team in achieving the planned sales volume and rate of growth. The incumbent is responsible for the Regional BU strategy and owns the regional P&L for Specialty Closures. To achieve this, the incumbent will be significantly involved in strategic key account management, will provide support to new regional account development and will be the technical sales expert in front of our customers, selling the value of our molding solutions. This individual is measured on attaining the annual planed sales volume, on the rate of Husky sales and share growth in the sector, on the successful development of key accounts and new regional accounts and the VCM of the territory in Specialty Closures.

Key Responsibilities/Areas of Accountability:

Lead the Business Manager Team in North America
Make the connection from the business strategy into the sales execution process
Become a subject matter expert in specialty closure molding.
Support developing a Specialty Closures strategy for North America, focus on understanding the customer needs and value drivers.
Develop a detailed understanding of the Specialty Closures client base with focus on the predefined target parts. Understand the brand-owner / converter relationship and map out the buying center for our key and strategic accounts
Proactively support the Direct Sales Team in developing new opportunities, including joint prospecting in support of Sales; provide any other assistance required for the sales process including specific customer sales strategies and, where appropriate, assist Sales in customer sales strategy implementation.
Through the Plan Assurance process, help develop and subsequently achieve annual growth, share and VCM goals for the Specialty Closure Market in North America.
Contribute to application reviews.
Competitive analysis.
Contribute to the identification and development of new product initiatives relevant to the market, in cooperation with Business Development Team.
Contribute to the development of marketing collateral and other sales tools relevant to the medical market.
Prepare, present and publish trade articles relevant to the medical client base

Master degree of equivalent in a related engineering discipline
5 years experience in Sales, Marketing and/or Sales Support in the injection molding industry.
Energy and self-motivation

Excellent coomunication skills
Excellent persuasive and negotiating skills
Strong interpersonal and project management skills
Team player but able to work independently
Analytic and technical ability suitable for medical mold technology marketing and sales
