Process/Automation Engineering Manager

have a new opening for the position of Process/Automation Engineering Manager. Our Medivators
Procedural (located in Conroe, TX) group designs, manufactures and sells an innovative array of
disposable infection control products intended to eliminate the need of sterilizing and reusing numerous
components used in gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy procedures.

Job Overview
The primary responsibilities include: Develop and sustain optimum molding processes for manufacturing
medical device components. Lead implementation for improved molding production, employee training
methods and controls. Provide technical support, training and project management for the organizations
automation initiatives. Other responsibilities in support of operational goals include manufacturing
processes development, integration of lean manufacturing and six sigma concepts into the organization,
and project planning.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot molding and manufacturing processes to mitigate Manufacturing defects
Familiar with a wide range of commodity and engineering grade resins
Experienced technical trainer in advanced plastics processing, production tool repair and diagnosis,
Material Handling and blending processes
Experience with supporting manufacturing automation projects and leading the integration efforts
Will be the liaison between the Molding department and the Manufacturing Engineering team
Will lead and support the departments process validation efforts
Provide engineering support for all issues related to product quality and machine efficiencies
Familiar with SPC techniques and the Scientific Molding process

Qualifications required for position:
Bachelor of Science degree in Polymer and/or Plastics/Materials Engineering, or Mechanical
Engineering with a focus on plastics processing.
Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in an Injection Molding environment (medical device
experience a plus).
Prior successful supervisory experience in Process Engineering environment.
Comprehensive knowledge and thorough understanding of injection molding process, machines,
robotics and auxiliary equipment.
Up-to-date knowledge of injection molding machine technology and capabilities.
