Mold Maker WI 40 - 70k (J#19615)
Education: High School
Experience: 4 - 9 years

Setup, operate, and program Toolroom equipment as required
Repair, revise and build molds and secondary tooling
Trouble shoot mold problems and help keep production molds in quality operational condition
Complete mold disassembly/assembly and cleaning, including hot sprue and manifold systems
Heat treatment of tool steels commonly used in molds
Support/communicate with Production team, Engineers, and other Toolroom personnel
Take required action to eliminate hazards
Work in a team environment
Maintain good housekeeping and safety habits
Know and understand yours and / or other's impact on the environment and take all necessary actions to reduce or eliminate negative impacts

Qualifications:

Education:

Journeyman Mold Maker or equivalent experience

Experience

Must have minimum of 5 years experience building and / or repairing plastic injection molds
Experience or training in MasterCam or other CAD/CAM software, preferred
Must be able to work weekends as required.
Strong mechanical ability
Good communication skills
Highly motivated, flexible, ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
Excellent math skills: trigonometry, geometry, algebra
Ability to read blueprints
Ability to operate forklift (license required)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
