Mechanical CAD Design Engineer CA Open (J#26052)

Title: Mechanical CAD Design Engineer

- Hand-on Enclosure/Parts mechanical architecture design, analysis, documentation and functional validation of mechanical components and assemblies for a variety of accessory products including phone, laptop, battery packs and cells. - Develop the integration of electronic devices into mechanical enclosures using different materials (fabric, rubber, or plastic) while keeping in mind quality, price, schedule and tooling requirements. - Ensure successful management and development of production parts with your knowledge of materials, part manufacturing methodologies, injection modeling, and rapid prototyping methods. - Successfully collaborate with cross functional teams and interface with manufacturing and tooling fab vendors.

About You:
- You have a passion and genuine curiosity about product and device design and are enthusiastic about creating products that delight our customers. - You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with unpredictability while having fun with your co-workers. - Must possess in-depth of mechanical principles and knowledge of product development, including prototyping and manufacturing methods. - An experienced of plastic injection- molded/over-molded, cosmetic/Styling parts design and manufacturing methods. - You understand the 3D CAD design and 2D drawings with tolerance and dimensioning. - You might have experience with product styling and user ergonomics. - Must be able to interface with manufacturing/tooling fab vendors. - You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
