Manufacturing Engineer WA Open (J#14888)
Education: Bachelors Degree
Experience: 1 - 3 years

Position purpose/core responsibilities:
Works with the various Manufacturing Managers to develop and implement more efficient and effective production methods and processes

Main Duties:
Analyzes existing processes and identifies opportunities for waste elimination and implementation of lean concepts.
Manages teams in the lean transformation of various manufacturing and assembly operations - Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing experience a strong plus.
Planning, project management, purchasing, and installing of manufacturing equipment and processes

Requirements:
Ability to manage multiple small to medium-scale projects - Project management skills and experience a plus.
Experience with secondary operations: design, specification and integration of fixtures and processes including work instructions, operator training, and failure analysis.
Strong data analysis and analytical skills - CAD proficiency/design background a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
BS in Engineering or other technical degree required or directly related experience and education with no degree.
