Injection Molding IL Open (J#23378)
Education: High School
Experience: 1 - 3 years

ITW Fuel Systems, located in Mokena, IL is a manufacturer of plastic injection molded parts and components for the automotive industry.

We have career opportunities for full time experienced plastic injection PROCESS TECHNICIANS.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of technical experience with plastic injection molding -- Hands on setup, processing, and troubleshooting skills with both electric and hydraulic injection machines and auxillary equipment.

Current openings are on all three shifts.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
*Experience in the setup and change over of both electric and hydraulic injection molding machines of 110 - 440 ton press sizes
*Lead groups of employees with various molding skill levels
*Responsible for accurate mold set-ups; start-ups; and process monitoring and maintaining a safe and clean work area
*RJG processing skills a plus
*Material handling, monitoring of auxillary equipment, and minor maintenance required
*Communicate with prior and oncoming shifts to give work assignments and expectations to achieve production requirements and promote shift interaction and awareness
*Monitor production for accuracy and efficiency and work with quality inspectors to ensure part quality/performance
*Promote safety by abiding to all related policies and procedures
*Participate and lead training initiatives to improve personal and co-worker skill sets

Job Requirements:
*Minimum of 3 years recent experience as a process setup technician in the field of plastic injection molding with strong mechanical aptitude
*High school diploma or equivalent
*Knowledge of robotics (Wittmann preferred), hydraulics and/or electrical systems for both relay and solid state machinery
*Good communication/interpretation skills, good visual skills for assessing part quality
*Above basic math skills and reasoning abilitiy
*Must be able to stand/walk for full manufacturing shift
*Moderate computer skills
*Able to lift up to 55 lbs
*Team player with good attitude and strong work ethic
*Individual must be eligible for employment in the United States
