Design Engineer NH 65 - 85k (J#20474)

A fast-growing southern NH-based injection molding company is seeking to hire a design engineer who is highly-skilled in part design and mold tool design.

Our company distinguishes itself from its injection molding competitors through up-front value-added engineering in the form of Design for Manufacture & Assembly, assistance with resin selection, MoldFlow Analysis and rapid, 3D prototyping in-house.

The successful candidate will have the following experience and ability to:
1. Evaluate of customer 3D part models to assess the part design in order to make it more moldable, yet less costly to the OEM where possible
2. Interact with customers on a regular basis with a partner mentality
3. Create actual mold designs for in-house tool fabrication
4. Discuss matters with customers in order to win their trust and aid in the sale process to help our company maintain its high win rate
5. interpret and modify MoldFlow reports or demonstrate that s/he can quickly learn how to work with MoldFlow for purposes of analyzing and conveying reports to customers, and
6. Work in Solidworks.

Candidate must also be interested in and willing to work with the companys joint venture partners in Asia, which offer support to the engineering department in the form of DFMA, Moldflow Report generation and mold design.
