Clean Room Supervisor AZ 55 - 60k (J#26228)

THIS POSITION REQUIRES MEDICAL PLASTICS EXPERIENCE

The CLEAN ROOM SUPERVISOR is responsible for leading production activities for packaging finished medical devices in and around an ISO class 8 clean room. The position includes, but is not limited to: supervision and training of employees, monitoring production efficiency and quality, maintaining clean room environment to meet regulatory requirements and identifying opportunities for process improvements.

SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
- Supervision of 3 to 5 packaging technicians
- Package medical device products by setting up, cleaning, operating, and maintaining equipment
- Meet daily and weekly production goals while maintaining appropriate quality and safety standards
- Ensure that employees are accountable for following established processes
- Train, mentor, assist and supervise employees conducting assembly and packaging processes
- Assign work to employees in order to meet planning schedules
- Verifying the accuracy of the job orders (including quantities and lot numbers) and proper labeling
- Report procedural deviations and non-conformances to Production Manager
- Establish maintenance program for packaging equipment and the cleanroom environment to meet regulatory - requirements and provide for Good Manufacturing Processes
- Assist manufacturing engineering in the development and execution of process and equipment validations to support sterile and non-sterile packaging operation
- Coordinate all aspects of maintaining appropriate cleanliness of clean room to ensure compliance with ISO standards
- Complete appropriate documentation in an accurate and timely manner
- Inventory control of packaging materials and components

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience with GMP/ISO standards in the medical device industry required
- Experience working in a medical device clean room environment required
- Demonstrated leadership in a medical device production environment required
- Previous leadership experience in a formalized role such as a supervisor or production lead desired
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to read and write English required
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to clearly communicate at all levels within the organization, both verbally and in writing
- Must demonstrate honesty, flexibility, attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Problem solving skills and the ability to collaborate with co-workers is highly desirable.
